About the role#
This summer internship offers an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to a professional environment focused on sales, risk management, carbon markets, and grain origination. Interns will gain hands-on experience by working on business projects within the sales and origination function. The program is designed to provide exposure to leadership, professional development, and networking opportunities across the organization.
What you'll do#
- Assist Strategic Farm Representatives and Grain Origination Merchants with regional objectives.
- Identify and develop customer solutions and services.
- Interact with grain producers both over the phone and on-site at farms.
- Work on business projects within the sales and origination function.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.
- Preference for majors in Agriculture, Agricultural Business, Agricultural Economics, or Agriculture Management.
- High degree of initiative and resourcefulness in completing work with limited guidance.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and individually.
- Valid driver’s license in the United States and access to a personal vehicle for travel.
- Right to work in the U.S. without reliance on a student visa or third-party sponsorship.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% as needed.
