About the role#
This paid internship offers hands-on experience in the truck transportation industry. The position is based on-site in West Sacramento, California, for the Summer 2026 term. It is a full-time role intended for students currently pursuing a degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering, business administration, or criminal justice.
What you'll do#
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair lift trucks.
- Perform planned maintenance on customer equipment.
- Complete and process all necessary paperwork following each job.
- Participate in required training activities.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a technical degree program.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to safely operate lift trucks.
