About the role#
Capital Resin Corporation is seeking engineering students for a full-time internship during the Winter 2027 semester. You will work within a 24/7 manufacturing environment, gaining hands-on experience by collaborating with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams. This role involves managing projects from the initial scope definition through to execution.
What you'll do#
- Provide support for engineering, maintenance, and production projects.
- Update and standardize process safety information.
- Improve the operator training program.
- Standardize various maintenance-related tasks.
- Process historian data.
- Travel to our Detroit facility as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a 2nd or 3rd year student in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Ability to work closely with operators, technicians, and engineering staff on maintenance and quality improvement projects.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Attention to detail and a genuine interest in chemical manufacturing.
- Willingness to collaborate with others to meet departmental and facility goals.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Columbus, Ohio.
- The term runs from January 4, 2027, to May 7, 2027.
- Travel to the Detroit facility may be required.
