Warehouse Worker - Student

About the role#

Canplas Industries Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Worker for a full-time student position during the summer of 2026. This role is based at our distribution center in Edmonton, Alberta, and requires on-site attendance.

What you'll do#

• Accurately pick, stack, wrap, and stage outbound freight to meet warehouse goals.
• Process outbound courier orders and perform stock replenishment.
• Receive and locate products using RF technology.
• Execute tasks in the prescribed sequence to ensure deliver-by-dates are met.
• Maintain a strict housekeeping standard in accordance with 5S protocols.
• Operate within established RF processes and HSE guidelines.
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions or unsafe work conditions in a timely manner.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in a recognized educational institution, with a preference for students in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
• Ability to lift 5 to 50 pounds repeatedly and remain on your feet for long periods.
• Capacity to work in an environment with changing climates and shifting work priorities.
• Proficiency in reading and writing English.
• Good communication skills and basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to work well within a team while remaining self-motivated and independent.
• Punctuality and diligence.
• Must be available for full-time work between June and September 2026.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check.

• Modality: On-site, full-time.
• Compensation: $28.02 per hour.
