About the role#
The Sports Management Intern supports the Sales and Marketing department at our North York complex. You will work directly with our CRM system and assist in managing ice contracts, spot rentals, and various tournament operations. This role focuses on balancing customer care with revenue growth strategies.
What you'll do#
- Maintain the complex CRM operating system for ice contracts and rentals.
- Help develop and execute direct sales strategies to drive revenue.
- Build relationships with new and existing customers to identify growth opportunities.
- Assist with the planning and execution of leagues, camps, and programs.
- Ensure all customers receive high-quality service and support.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program that requires an internship for academic credit.
- Previous experience in customer service or an office setting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and comfort learning new software systems.
- Ability to handle pressure, meet deadlines, and manage difficult situations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A professional and organized approach to daily tasks.
- CRM experience is considered an asset.
