About the role#
California Aeronautical University is hiring a Student Worker to serve as a Certificated Flight Instructor. You will provide flight instruction, including preflight and post-flight briefings, to students enrolled in flight lab courses. What you'll do#
- Conduct flight instruction lessons that meet University and Airman Certification Standards.
- Manage student progress and completion goals according to the academic schedule.
- Ensure student flight scheduling stays on track to meet course objectives.
- Maintain accurate flight records for each student, including currency and qualification data.
- Report any safety issues using the University Safety Management System.
- Update lesson notes and manage student attendance.
What you'll need#
- Current certifications required to provide flight instruction.
