About the role#
As an Associate Portfolio Executive intern, you will launch your career in business development and account management. This paid, full-time summer internship places you within our sales team to help clients achieve their business goals. You will start with an interactive onboarding program to learn our business development strategies and customer-centric culture. Throughout the summer, you will receive mentorship, build a professional network, and gain hands-on experience in the logistics and transportation industry.
What you'll do#
- Work alongside industry professionals to learn internal business processes and supply chain best practices.
- Build strong relationships internally across teams and externally with customers, carriers, and suppliers.
- Learn and use our proprietary global supply chain platform, Navisphere.
- Develop skills in sales, negotiation, operations management, and transportation information systems.
What you'll need#
- Undergraduate education at a Junior or Senior level.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Communications, or a related major.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and maintain high attention to detail.
- A driven, enthusiastic, and motivated approach to work.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment while delivering independent results.
