About the role#
As an Account Management Intern, you will work alongside experienced professionals to solve supply chain challenges. You will gain exposure to customer relationship management, transportation operations, data analytics, and business strategy. This role provides an opportunity to build foundational business skills and explore career paths within the logistics industry.
What you'll do#
- Support customer-facing teams in managing day-to-day account activities.
- Help analyze supply chain performance, pricing, and operational data.
- Assist with shipment execution and identify opportunities to improve service and efficiency.
- Participate in customer meetings, business reviews, and strategic discussions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, pricing, sales, and capacity management.
- Leverage technology and data insights to solve business challenges and improve outcomes.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance customer experience and operational performance.
- Build relationships across the organization while developing a deeper understanding of the transportation and logistics industry.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Sales, Marketing, Economics, Communications, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Interest in customer relationship management, business strategy, and supply chain management.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and think critically.
- Curiosity, adaptability, initiative, and resilience.
- Experience through student organizations, leadership roles, internships, part-time work, athletics, or volunteer activities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
