2026 Summer Human Resources Intern

About the role#

This 10-12 week internship provides an encompassing experience within the Human Resources department at the Butterball headquarters. The program is designed to support professional development through hands-on assignments and projects that align with interests in the processing and manufacturing industry. Interns will gain exposure to human capital management systems and work directly on initiatives that support the organization.

What you'll do#

• Manage projects including system configurations, testing, and documentation to support process improvements.
• Conduct data tracking and analysis, solutions research, and project management tasks.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and network with industry experts.

What you'll need#

• Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027.
• Basic experience in Excel.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence leadership decisions.
• Preferred experience with Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and UKG Pro.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
