About the role#
As a Sustainability Design Intern in the Environmental Services group, you will support our business strategy and project teams. You will work on infrastructure development projects, including permitting and remediation. Our team provides consulting services for LEED, Envision, SITES, and embodied carbon. This is a full-time, paid position based in Denver.
What you'll do#
- Assist with daily tasks like data entry, documentation, filing, and scanning.
- Create and update PowerPoint presentations.
- Collect and analyze data to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Research project concerns, analyze findings, and recommend solutions.
- Present your findings and solutions to the team.
- Help with ad hoc projects and general inquiries as assigned by managers.
- Comply with all company policies and standards.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Architectural, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering. An ABET-accredited program is preferred.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and a self-motivated approach to learning.
- Active involvement in campus, community, or volunteer organizations.
- Prior internship or consulting experience is a plus.
- You must be legally authorized to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Denver, Colorado.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, rolling term.
- Travel: Approximately 5% of the time.
- Compensation: $19.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Benefits: Interns may participate in the 401(k) retirement program if eligibility requirements are met. You are also entitled to paid sick leave under the Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act.
