About the role#
As a Structural Engineering Intern, you will apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to support our Global Facilities team. You will work on the planning and design of manufacturing facilities, data centers, and mission-critical infrastructure. This role involves assisting lead engineers with project duties and managing technical documentation.
What you'll do#
- Perform standard design work for engineering systems.
- Correct and update existing designs.
- Research and analyze project concerns to recommend technical solutions.
- Collect and analyze data to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Handle administrative project tasks including data entry, filing, scanning, and preparing presentations.
- Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.
- Comply with company policies and standards.
What you'll need#
- Pursuit of a bachelor degree in Structural Engineering or a related field, preferably from an ABET-accredited program.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and self-motivation.
- Prior internship or consulting experience is a plus.
- Active involvement in campus, community, or volunteer organizations.
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.

- Location: Melbourne, Florida.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time.
- Travel: Approximately 5% of the time.
- Compensation: Paid internship with access to 401(k) retirement program and accrued sick leave based on hours worked.
