About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship focused on construction project management. You will work on-site to assist lead engineers and support various phases of the design-build process. This role involves a mix of office and field-related tasks, with approximately 5% travel required.
What you'll do#
- Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to project tasks.
- Assist with the design of engineering systems, including updating and correcting existing designs.
- Support lead engineers with daily project duties.
- Contribute to safety, health, estimating, pre-construction, field operations, and quality management tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and a self-motivated approach to learning.
- Active involvement in campus, community, or volunteer organizations.
- Prior internship or consulting experience is a plus.

- Locations: Newton, Massachusetts; Wallingford, Connecticut; or Morristown, New Jersey.
- Schedule: Full-time.
- Compensation: $19.50 to $35.00 per hour, based on experience and location.
