About the role#
As a Project Management Intern in the Construction group, you will support the design-build process. You will work on construction phase services and assist with project execution approaches including self-perform, multi-subcontractor, and program management. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Houston.
What you'll do#
- Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to project tasks.
- Assist lead engineers with daily project duties.
- Support safety, health, estimating, pre-construction, field operations, and quality management.
- Perform standard design tasks and update existing designs.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is strongly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership experience through campus or community involvement.
- Prior internship or consulting experience is a plus.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Houston, Texas.
- Schedule: Full-time.
- Travel: Approximately 5% of the time.
- Benefits: Participation in the 401(k) program is available if eligibility requirements are met, and sick leave is accrued based on hours worked.
