About the role#
As a Project Management Intern in the Construction group, you will support the design-build process. You will work on various project execution approaches, including self-perform, multi-subcontractor, construction-only, and program management tasks. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Denver.
What you'll do#
- Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to project tasks.
- Assist lead engineers with daily duties and project requirements.
- Create, correct, and update engineering system designs.
- Provide support for safety and health, estimating, pre-construction, field operations, and quality management.
- Travel as needed, approximately 5 percent of the time.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and a self-motivated approach to learning.
- Active involvement in campus, community, or volunteer organizations.
- Prior internship or related consulting experience is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Denver, Colorado.
- Pay: $19.50 to $37.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Full-time.
- Benefits: Eligible for the 401(k) retirement program and paid sick leave as required by the Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act.
