About the role#
As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will work with our Global Facilities team in Columbus. This group handles planning and design for manufacturing facilities, data centers, and administrative buildings across various sectors like healthcare, aerospace, and food production. You will support our teams by assisting with daily operations and project-specific tasks.
What you'll do#
- Assist with documentation, data entry, scanning, and filing.
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations and respond to general inquiries.
- Collect and analyze data to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Research project concerns, then analyze and recommend solutions.
- Present your findings and solutions to the team.
- Complete ad hoc projects as assigned by your manager.
- Follow all company policies and standards.
What you'll need#
- Pursuit of a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, preferably from an ABET-accredited program.
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary education or technical certificate program.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and a self-motivated approach to learning.
- Active involvement in campus, community, or volunteer organizations.
- Prior internship or related consulting experience is preferred.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for sponsorship.
