    About the role#

    Bureau Veritas Group is seeking a Commissioning Engineer Intern for the Summer 2026 term. This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship based in McLean, Virginia. Please note that sponsorship is not provided for this position.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist in the commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems.
    • Support the project manager with daily operations.
    • Perform field inspections and tests as required.
    • Document findings and provide recommendations based on field work.
    • Coordinate tasks with contractors and project stakeholders.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a degree program for Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
    • A solid understanding of core engineering principles.
    • Experience working with engineering software.
    • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
    • Strong communication skills to interact with various project partners.
