About the role#
Buckeye Power Sales offers an internship program for students interested in generator power systems. This position is based in Twinsburg, Ohio, and follows a rolling admission schedule. It is a full-time, on-site, and paid opportunity. The program includes paid tuition for the 3-month Advanced Generator Power Systems Training Program.
What you'll do#
Interns work on servicing customer generators. This includes troubleshooting, performing repairs, and completing planned maintenance services. You will also manage parts inventory on your service truck and keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained. You are responsible for processing all required paperwork and providing repair recommendations to customers.
What you'll need#
- Completion of an Auto-Diesel Technology or Diesel Equipment Technology program at Ohio Technical College or another school.
- A valid driver's license that meets company insurance criteria.
- Ability to obtain or hold a DOT medical card.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- A record of excellent attendance and a positive attitude, supported by teacher recommendations.
