About the role#
Buckeye Power Sales offers an internship for students interested in generator power systems. This role provides hands-on experience in the field, including paid tuition for the 3-month Advanced Generator Power Systems Training Program.
What you'll do#
- Service customer generators, including troubleshooting, repairs, and planned maintenance services.
- Maintain parts inventory on your assigned service truck.
- Ensure the care, cleanliness, and upkeep of your service truck.
- Process all required service paperwork.
- Provide recommendations to customers regarding necessary repair work.
What you'll need#
- Completion of an Auto-Diesel Technology or Diesel Equipment Technology program at Ohio Technical College or another accredited school.
- A valid driver's license that meets company insurance criteria.
- A DOT Medical Card, or the ability to obtain one.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in English.
- A record of excellent attendance and a positive attitude, supported by teacher recommendations.
