About the role#

Buckeye Power Sales offers a Generator Power Systems Internship for students completing an Auto-Diesel or Diesel Equipment Technology program. This role provides hands-on experience with on-site power solutions, including generators and engines, while preparing interns for a career in power generation.

What you'll do#

• Service customer generators, including troubleshooting, repairs, and planned maintenance.
• Manage parts inventory on the service truck.
• Maintain the cleanliness and overall upkeep of the service vehicle.
• Process all required service paperwork.
• Communicate repair recommendations to customers.

What you'll need#

• Completion of an Auto-Diesel Technology or Diesel Equipment Technology program at Ohio Technical College or an equivalent institution.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to meet company insurance criteria.
• Ability to obtain or hold a DOT Medical Card.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• A track record of excellent attendance and a positive attitude, supported by teacher recommendations.
