About the role#
Buck Mason is seeking aspiring womenswear designers to gain industry experience. This internship is ideal for students with a passion for iconic and vintage-inspired womenswear.
What you'll do#
- Partner with the women's design team.
- Assist with the organization of the design process, including maintaining design boards and fabric libraries.
- Create tech packs and sketches using Adobe Illustrator.
- Participate in fabric and color selection.
- Conduct market research relevant to the brand.
- Attend fittings for all categories and take notes.
- Follow up with cross-functional teams as needed.
- Assist with styling for campaigns and influencer seeding.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program as a Womenswear Design student at a fashion design school.
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite.
- Knowledge of vintage military and workwear apparel.
- Ability to take initiative and solve problems.
- Willingness to accept feedback and adapt to changing needs.
