About the role#
The NP/PA Intern is an observation-only trainee role designed for Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant students to gain exposure to a healthcare setting. Interns shadow licensed providers to observe patient-centered care, clinical workflows, and professional interactions. This position focuses on learning evidence-based practice within the scope of academic program requirements and organizational policies.
What you'll do#
- Shadow licensed providers to observe patient-centered care.
- Gain an understanding of clinical workflows and professional interactions.
- Maintain professional boundaries with patients and colleagues.
- Complete administrative and clinical tasks by assigned deadlines.
- Attend mandatory meetings and training sessions.
- Adhere to company policies and maintain patient confidentiality.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Good academic standing with program approval for an internship or rotation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to maintain professionalism and patient confidentiality.
- Successful completion of on-site orientation and a signed confidentiality agreement.
