NP/PA Intern - Observation Only

About the role#

The NP/PA Intern is an observation-only trainee role designed for Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant students to gain exposure to a healthcare setting. Interns shadow licensed providers to observe patient-centered care, clinical workflows, and professional interactions. This position focuses on learning evidence-based practice within the scope of academic program requirements and organizational policies.

What you'll do#

• Shadow licensed providers to observe patient-centered care.
• Gain an understanding of clinical workflows and professional interactions.
• Maintain professional boundaries with patients and colleagues.
• Complete administrative and clinical tasks by assigned deadlines.
• Attend mandatory meetings and training sessions.
• Adhere to company policies and maintain patient confidentiality.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Good academic standing with program approval for an internship or rotation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to maintain professionalism and patient confidentiality.
• Successful completion of on-site orientation and a signed confidentiality agreement.
