About the role#
The NP/PA Intern is an observation-only trainee role for students in Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant programs. You will gain exposure to a healthcare setting by shadowing licensed providers. This position focuses on learning clinical workflows and professional interactions. Please note that this role does not involve direct patient care.
What you'll do#
- Shadow licensed providers to observe patient-centered care and clinical workflows.
- Attend all mandatory meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain professional boundaries with patients and colleagues.
- Complete administrative and clinical tasks by your assigned deadlines.
- Adhere to company policies and maintain patient confidentiality.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Good academic standing with program approval for an internship or rotation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to Bowen Health core values of respect, integrity, mission, and stewardship.
- Ability to sign a confidentiality agreement and complete on-site orientation.
