About the role#
Bommarito Performance Systems is hiring for a Sports Performance Internship. This role involves working directly with youth, high school, and team training clients. You will assist in daily operations while gaining experience in a professional athletic training environment.
What you'll do#
- Plan and lead semi-private and private training sessions according to company standards.
- Deliver training to youth, high school, and team clients.
- Assist with various business and training operational tasks.
- Attend mandatory staff development meetings, workshops, and ongoing education sessions.
- Maintain high standards of business ethics in all interactions.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing or holding a bachelor's degree, ideally in Kinesiology.
- A nationally accredited training certification or currently working toward one.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform athletic movements.
- Experience working with children in group or individual settings.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to project energy and build rapport with clients.
- A background as a high school or college athlete is preferred.
- Motivation toward personal and professional development.
Location & details#
- Locations: Davie, Florida and North Miami, Florida.
- Schedule: Hours vary based on facility workflow. You must be available to work until 9:00pm or closing, including some weekends.
- Status: This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
