About the role#
The Boeing SkillBridge program provides transitioning U.S. Service Members the opportunity to gain industry experience during their final 180 days of active duty. This internship program bridges the gap between military service and the civilian workforce by offering training and professional development across Boeing business units, including Commercial Airplanes, Defense, Space and Security, and Boeing Global Services. This is a full-time, on-site, temporary internship that does not exceed 180 days.
What you'll do#
- Learn a role or career path similar to your current military specialty from a Boeing perspective.
- Gain exposure to a Boeing role aligned with your degree field or professional experience.
- Apply your military background to meaningful projects while developing skills in business acumen, data analytics, financial analysis, strategy, and operations.
- Demonstrate the value of your military experience to your assigned team and contribute to global aerospace projects.
What you'll need#
- Active duty U.S. Military status with Command approval to participate.
- Served at least 180 continuous days on active duty.
- Within 12 months of separation or retirement from the military.
- Ability to start 180 days prior to separation or retirement.
- Active Secret Clearance or higher.
- Status as a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15.

- Compensation: Participants are not eligible for compensation from Boeing while on active duty and continue to receive military compensation and benefits.
