About the role#
Boardwalk Pipelines is hiring an Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This position is located in Owensboro, Kentucky. You will work on-site to gain industry experience in the oil and gas sector.
What you'll do#
- Provide engineering support for natural gas pipeline and meter projects.
- Focus on the safe, efficient, and reliable transportation of natural gas.
- Work alongside a mentor and a team of engineers.
- Apply your classroom knowledge to real projects in a supervised setting.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited Bachelor of Science in Engineering program.
- You must be a current Junior or Senior student.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.
- A technical mindset for reviewing and understanding engineering deliverables.
- High level of initiative, motivation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
