About the role#
BlueScope is hiring interns for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site program designed to provide hands-on experience and exposure to our business operations. You will work alongside experienced professionals to support real projects and gain insight into the building materials industry.
What you'll do#
- Assist with research, projects, and daily operational activities within your assigned department.
- Collect and analyze data while preparing reports and project deliverables.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.
- Learn company systems and maintain project documentation.
- Develop an understanding of BlueScope products and services.
- Demonstrate initiative and professionalism while completing assigned tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical and organizational abilities with a focus on problem-solving.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- A strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
