About the role#
As a Construction Intern, you will work on-site at a field project location. You will support field superintendents with daily operations and contribute to infrastructure projects. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Assist field superintendents with daily task completion.
- Prepare daily reports.
- Coordinate material expediting and location tracking.
- Support cost and progress reporting.
- Perform physical labor in an outdoor, industrial field construction environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university program for Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with computers and clear written and oral communication.
- Ability to work with initiative as a self-starter.
- Attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, including background checks and drug screens.
Location & details#
- Location: Field assignment in Kansas, United States.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Physical Demands: This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, walking on uneven surfaces, climbing, and working in varying weather conditions and temperatures. You must be willing to relocate for the duration of the internship and have reliable transportation.
