About the role#
BL Harbert International LLC offers rolling internship and co-op opportunities for students pursuing degrees in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Architecture, or Environmental Engineering. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Homewood, Alabama.
What you'll do#
You will support the project team across three core areas:
- Project Management: Assist in coordinating contractual requirements, design drawings, and project specifications to ensure successful project completion.
- Field Supervision: Support Project Superintendents with the day-to-day management of construction activities, including the enforcement of safety policies, scheduling, and monitoring progress for quality and compliance.
- Estimating: Help the estimating team prepare construction budgets by reviewing plans, updating specifications, obtaining vendor bids, and analyzing cost data.
