About the role#
As a People Team Intern, you will assist with cyclical HR processes and help develop branding initiatives to improve communication with employees and prospective recruits. This is a full-time, paid position that requires on-site work in El Segundo, California.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the job description update project.
- Coordinate summer intern events and activities, such as community service and lunch and learn sessions.
- Collaborate with the HR team to reimagine the Belkin HR brand, including updates to presentations and campaigns.
- Help update the internal company blog and other internal communications.
- Support the HR Paperless Project through participation and administrative tasks.
- Assist with year-end activities like the annual review, merit process, engagement surveys, and open enrollment.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Psychology.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong self-initiated follow up skills with the ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Ability to express ideas clearly and succinctly in both verbal and written form.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- A proactive mindset and the ability to think outside of the box.

- Compensation: $16.90 to $20.00 per hour.
