About the role#
As a People Team Intern, you will assist in the execution of cyclical HR processes and support branding initiatives to improve communication with employees and prospective recruits. This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in El Segundo, California.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the job description update project.
- Coordinate summer intern events and activities, such as community service and lunch and learn sessions.
- Collaborate with the HR team to reimagine the Belkin HR brand across presentations, job descriptions, and internal campaigns.
- Assist with updating the internal Belkin blog and other internal communications.
- Support the HR Paperless Project through administrative tasks and active participation.
- Assist in the execution of year-end activities, including annual reviews, merit processes, employee engagement surveys, and open enrollment.
- Comply with all company health, safety, and operational regulations.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Psychology.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professional discretion.
- Strong self-initiated follow-up skills with the ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Ability to express ideas clearly and succinctly in both verbal and written forms.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to think outside of the box.
