About the role#
Bedford Industries is hiring an Engineering Intern to support our team in Worthington, Minnesota. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position. You will work with our staff on the research, planning, development, and testing of manufacturing equipment and new products.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the design and testing of Bedford automation equipment.
- Learn to use company engineering software, including Autodesk Inventor and MiniTab.
- Evaluate product quality.
- Complete other engineering tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You must be a candidate for a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field.
- Ability to communicate professionally.
- You should be comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use available resources.
- You must be able to lift at least 40 lbs.
Location & details#
- Location: Worthington, Minnesota.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday.
- Work environment: This role involves time in both an office and a production setting.
