About the role#
Bazooka Brands is hiring an Industrial Engineering intern for our Moosic, Pennsylvania plant. You will spend 2 to 3 months establishing updated production standards on two Ring Pop manufacturing lines. This is a hands-on role for a student seeking experience in a manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Conduct time-and-motion studies using 10 to 30 cycles per work element.
- Separate value-added work from non-value-added work.
- Calculate normal and standard times by applying performance ratings and allowances.
- Document crew composition and labor costs by grade.
- Capture OEE inputs including availability, performance, and quality to compute OEE by line.
- Populate the study workbook, validate findings with supervisors, and present a baseline report.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Industrial, Manufacturing, or Operations Engineering degree program, with preference for rising juniors or seniors.
- Familiarity with work measurement, standard-time, and OEE concepts.
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work on a production floor and communicate with line teams.
- Local to the Scranton area with the ability to commute to Moosic.

- Location: Moosic, Pennsylvania.
- Term: Fall 2026, approximately October through December.
- Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: Paid position.
- Additional: Safety orientation and PPE are provided. Academic credit is available if desired.
