About the role#
As a Co-op Engineering R&D student, you will support the project team by building and operating prototypes and test systems. You will work under the direction of a Test Engineer to assist with the introduction of new products at the module, integration, and system levels. This role offers the opportunity to manage your own time while collaborating with a team of inquisitive individuals.
What you'll do#
- Build and operate prototypes, test protocols, and bench test setups.
- Create and validate test systems for design verification.
- Document and maintain test records in line with formal test processes and Quality Management System policies.
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings and design reviews.
- Troubleshoot problems and assist with root cause investigations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret specification documents and implement detailed test protocols.
- Experience creating clear, detailed documentation and records.
- Proficiency using test equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A self-motivated approach and the ability to multitask under pressure.
- Willingness to learn new applications and work effectively in a team setting.

- Location: Skaneateles, New York.
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Employment: Full-time.
- Compensation: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour.
