About the role#
Nevada Gold Mines offers a summer internship program for students across various disciplines. This program provides hands-on experience in the mining industry. Available opportunities include roles in mining, mechanical, electrical, metallurgical, environmental, and geological engineering. We also have positions in supply chain, safety and health, finance, accounting, human resources, community engagement, and communications.
What you'll do#
You will complete projects that contribute to our operations. You will work on-site at our Nevada locations and collaborate with experienced professionals throughout the summer.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in school for the Fall 2027 semester (proof required).
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (transcripts required).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, including a drug and alcohol screen.
- Ability to pass metals testing if the specific role requires it.
Location & details#
- Location: Elko, Nevada.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May or June through the first week of August).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- This is a paid, full-time internship program that includes housing.
