About the role#
As a Project Engineer Intern, you will gain experience in the construction industry by supporting our project managers and field teams. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role with a rolling start date. You will help manage project documentation, track inventory, and assist in maintaining project schedules.
What you'll do#
- Partner with project managers to implement projects, including inventory tracking and scheduling.
- Maintain project documentation and suggest improvements to current processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to keep projects on track.
- Provide accurate and timely information to field staff.
- Assist with business development and building relationships with clients.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering.
- A valid driver's license.
- General knowledge of commercial mechanical and electrical system components.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

This role is on-site at one of our locations in Ankeny, Iowa; Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Lebanon, Indiana; Jeffersonville, Indiana; Louisville, Kentucky; or Kansas City, Missouri.
