About the role#
As a Product Management & Innovation (PM&I) Intern, you will join multidisciplinary teams to design and launch digital products and services. You will work at the intersection of strategy, product, and technology to build solutions that address real business challenges. This is a full-time summer internship designed for MBA students interested in the application of AI and human-centered design within a consulting context.
What you'll do#
- Identify and validate innovation opportunities using human-centered design methods.
- Translate user and business needs into product concepts, prototypes, and MVPs.
- Contribute to product vision, strategy, and roadmap development for digital initiatives.
- Partner with engineers, designers, and clients to test and iterate solutions.
- Leverage emerging technologies such as AI, data platforms, and automation.
- Support agile ceremonies, define user stories, and manage backlogs across cross-functional teams.
- Create lightweight PRDs and roadmap artifacts.
- Document and share internship findings with senior leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MBA program.
- A strong mix of business acumen and technical curiosity.
- Interest in translating ideas into scalable digital experiences.
- Exposure to agile, product management, or design thinking through professional or academic experience.
- Ability to thrive in collaborative environments and comfort with ambiguity.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to interpret business context, technical information, and customer needs quickly.
- Preferred: Prior experience in product management, startups, consulting, or technology.
- Preferred: Coursework in Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Industrial Design.
- Preferred: Ability to use Gen-AI powered product development tools effectively.

- Locations: New York, New York and San Francisco, California.

- Modality: Hybrid (requires in-person collaboration at least three days per week).
