About the role#
The Accelerate IT Solutions and Operations Internship is a full-time, 10-week summer program for students graduating in May or June 2027. You will join our team in Parsippany, New Jersey, to gain hands-on experience in technology project management and operations. The program includes professional development workshops, networking opportunities with senior leadership, and exposure to our field operations.
What you'll do#
- Support the planning, testing, and implementation of technology projects for rental stations and corporate users.
- Contribute to initiatives such as automated gate exit systems, digital signage, identity management, and collaboration platforms.
- Track project milestones, document requirements, and prepare status updates.
- Configure, test, and validate hardware and software deployments.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with teams to resolve them.
- Create and maintain project documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams and external vendor partners to improve technology delivery processes.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a degree program for Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a graduation date in May or June 2027.
- Foundational knowledge of computing concepts, operating systems, networking, and productivity tools like Microsoft Office.
- Interest in IT project coordination and solving business challenges through technology.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented mindset with organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting, system configuration, or project management tools like Jira or Microsoft Project is helpful.
- Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell or Python is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site internship located at our corporate headquarters in Parsippany, New Jersey.
- The position pays $35 per hour.
- You must be able to reliably commute to the Parsippany office for the duration of the program.
