About the role#
We are hiring a Student Supervisor to join our team at Converse University. This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling term. You will work on-site in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
What you'll do#
- Prepare hot and cold food items.
- Store food correctly based on temperature requirements and spoilage guidelines.
- Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, and necessary utensils.
- Interact with guests in serving, retail, and dining areas while following proper service procedures.
- Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment according to regulatory rules.
- Multitask and maintain a steady pace throughout your shift.
What you'll need#
- A strong work ethic.
- Professional communication skills when working with team members and other departments.
- Ability to maintain professional relationships with vendors, supervisors, managers, and customers.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
