About the role#
AVI Foodsystems is hiring a Student Food Service Worker at the PennWest University Goldrush Dining Hall. This role offers flexible hours designed to fit around your school schedule. You will receive a free meal for every shift you work.
What you'll do#
- Help prepare hot and cold food items.
- Store food properly by following temperature and spoilage guidelines.
- Set up service stations with soups, salads, entrées, bread, and condiments.
- Interact with guests in dining and retail areas.
- Greet guests, make eye contact, and follow service procedures.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and workstations according to regulatory rules.
- Manage multiple tasks while maintaining a steady pace.
What you'll need#
- A strong work ethic.
- Ability to communicate professionally with team members and other departments.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
- Ability to maintain professional relationships with supervisors, managers, customers, and vendors.
