About the role#
We are hiring a Student Food Service Worker to join our team at the PennWest University Dining Hall in Clarion, PA. This is an on-site, paid role with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Prepare hot and cold food items.
- Store food correctly by following temperature and spoilage guidelines.
- Set up stations with entrees, soups, salads, breads, condiments, and utensils.
- Interact with guests in the dining and retail areas while following service procedures.
- Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment to meet regulatory standards.
- Manage multiple tasks at once while maintaining a steady pace.
What you'll need#
- A strong work ethic.
- Professional communication skills when working with team members and other departments.
- Ability to maintain professional relationships with supervisors, managers, customers, and vendors.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
