About the role#
AVI Foodsystems is hiring Student Catering Workers to support campus events at PennWest University in Edinboro. This is a paid, on-site role with a rolling term. Scheduling is flexible to fit your availability and includes shifts during the week, in the evenings, and on weekends.
What you'll do#
- Deliver food and beverages to event locations.
- Set up items in a professional and logical manner.
- Ensure all necessary condiments and service ware are available.
- Clean up service areas after events or at the requested pick-up time.
- Breakdown products retrieved from events.
- Maintain the cleanliness of catering areas.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on catering vehicles.
- Restock supplies and track items that need to be ordered.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current PennWest Edinboro student.
- Reliability and dependability.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous food service or catering experience is helpful but not required.
