About the role#
AVI Foodsystems is hiring a student Food Service Worker at the Perseus House Charter School. This is a part-time position for current students who want to work on campus.
What you'll do#
- Prepare hot and cold food items.
- Store food properly by following temperature and spoilage guidelines.
- Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, and utensils.
- Serve guests and assist in retail and dining areas.
- Follow guest service procedures, including greeting customers.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and workstations.
- Multitask to keep up with the workflow.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current student on campus.
- Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to communicate professionally and respectfully with team members, supervisors, and guests.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
