About the role#
AVI Foodsystems is hiring a Student Food Service Worker for Taylor University in Upland, Indiana. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Prepare hot and cold food items.
- Store food correctly by following temperature and spoilage guidelines.
- Set up serving stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, and necessary utensils.
- Interact with guests in dining and retail areas using standard service procedures.
- Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment according to regulatory rules.
- Manage multiple tasks while maintaining a consistent pace.
What you'll need#
- A strong work ethic.
- Ability to communicate professionally with team members and other departments.
- Professional conduct when interacting with supervisors, vendors, and customers.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
- Current enrollment in a Business Administration program.
