About the role#
AV Concepts offers a rotational internship program designed to build skills from the ground up. You will gain experience across multiple departments including audio, video, lighting, shipping, and the solutions center. This is a paid, on-site role based in Tempe, Arizona.
What you'll do#
- Perform quality control and testing on equipment.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory.
- Train on modern sound and visual equipment using Mac and PC systems.
- Maintain performance standards that reflect professionalism and teamwork.
- Follow safety protocols and report any hazards immediately.
- Handle additional tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Interest in developing skills for corporate events, theater, or the entertainment industry.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve basic equipment or software issues.
- Enrollment in a technical college or conservatory is preferred.
- Ability to work at least 20 hours per week between Monday and Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with noise from testing equipment.
- Physical ability to lift 25 lbs and push 100 lbs.
- Footwear that meets ASTM F2413 standards.

- Compensation: $15.00 to $17.00 per hour.
