About the role#
August Schell is hiring a Business Development Representative intern to manage sales relationships. You will act as a bridge between the Marketing and Sales teams to help grow the business. This role requires someone who can develop leads and meet sales goals.
What you'll do#
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns.
- Reach out to potential clients through cold calls and emails.
- Present our company and services to prospective clients.
- Identify client needs and suggest suitable product solutions.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
- Proactively find new business opportunities.
- Coordinate meetings between clients and Account Executives.
- Report sales results to the Business Development Manager.
- Keep track of new products, services, and pricing updates.
What you'll need#
- A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Prior experience as a sales executive, business development manager, or a similar role.
- Practical experience with sales techniques like cold calling.
- A history of meeting sales quotas.
- Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce.
- Familiarity with MS Excel for analyzing data.
- An understanding of sales performance metrics.
- The ability to present information clearly in person and virtually.
