About the role#
ATCS is hiring for the 2027 Summer Internship Program. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Herndon, Virginia. You will work alongside our staff on various technical and administrative tasks to support ongoing projects. We aim to provide exposure to real-world engineering work through mentorship and collaboration.
What you'll do#
- Support engineers and staff with project tasks.
- Use engineering and design software to prepare project documents.
- Collect, prepare, and analyze project data.
- Work with team members to complete assignments.
- Provide administrative support to keep projects moving.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a B.S. program for Civil Engineering.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Previous internship experience is preferred.
- Exposure to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Microstation is a plus.

- Compensation: 18 - 22 dollars per hour.
