About the role#
Atchley Air is looking for a Community Engagement Intern to help manage local outreach and strengthen our presence in the Fort Smith area. This part-time role focuses on building relationships with nonprofits, schools, and community groups. You will work alongside our Community Engagement Manager and Regional Social Media Specialist to execute initiatives that align with our business goals. This position requires someone who is comfortable meeting new people and representing the company at local functions.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain relationships with nonprofit organizations, local businesses, and community groups.
- Coordinate volunteer opportunities, community service projects, and event logistics.
- Track partnership commitments and help measure the impact of our community efforts.
- Support the planning and execution of sponsorships and partnership activations.
- Capture content for social media and gather success stories to highlight our community involvement.
- Manage administrative tasks including event scheduling and tracking engagement metrics.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build professional relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- A self-motivated approach to managing multiple projects at once.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with social media platforms.
Location & details#
- Location: Fort Smith, Arkansas.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time, averaging 15 to 25 hours per week. Availability during some evenings and weekends is required to support local events.
- Compensation: $15.00 per hour.
