About the role#
This is a part-time, paid internship based in Arcadia, Wisconsin. You will work on-site to gain practical experience in Human Resources. The role involves rotating through different areas of the department to understand various company functions and contributing to special projects.
What you'll do#
- Schedule and attend one-on-one job observation sessions with staff.
- Participate in weekly departmental meetings and training opportunities.
- Handle confidential and government documentation, including filing and alphabetizing.
- Collaborate with team members on initiatives to improve company processes.
- Manage special assignments and administrative tasks as requested.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of post-secondary education in an HR or Business-related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proper grammar and spelling.
- A professional demeanor when handling difficult inquiries or issues.
- The ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
- Experience working independently and within a team environment.
- A working knowledge of Continuous Improvement principles.
