About the role#
The Donor and Museum Relations intern supports the Advancement team at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and the Momentary. This role focuses on donor engagement, hospitality, and event execution. You will help maintain donor-focused processes and support high-profile events as the museum prepares for its upcoming campus expansion and gala.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate detailed itineraries for high-level guests and donor tours.
- Support donor events by drafting briefing documents and managing RSVP lists.
- Update and use the Tessitura CRM database system.
- Assist with mailing lists and create event materials using tools like Paperless Post and Canva.
- Support the travel program by researching sites and creating biographies, maps, and schedules.
- Provide on-site support for events such as Directors Receptions and Momentary Music on the Green concerts.
- Assist with general donor stewardship activities as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited program or graduation from one within the last three years.
- Sophomore level or above preferred for college students.
- Strong writing, editing, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn donor-centric stewardship and event management strategies.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and discretion when interacting with staff and donors.
- Dependable and punctual with the ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Experience in administrative work is preferred.
Location & details#
- This internship is located in Bentonville, Arkansas.
- The term runs from January 25, 2027, to April 30, 2027.
- This is an on-site, paid position.
- Undergraduate interns may work up to 20 hours per week, while graduate interns may work up to 25 hours per week.
