About the role#
We are looking for Quantitative Developer Interns to join our Research team for Summer 2027. You will work alongside quantitative researchers and developers to build tools and infrastructure that support our investment strategies. This program combines theory and practice, giving you real-world experience in quantitative finance and technology.
What you'll do#
- Solve complex quantitative problems using Python or R.
- Design and build tools or libraries to improve our data science technology stack.
- Perform exploratory data analysis on large, complex data sets to inform investment ideas.
- Improve the performance of our data analysis and numerical programming libraries.
- Run proof-of-concept projects to evaluate new technologies in cloud and PyData ecosystems.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in a technical field like Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or Economics.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, programming, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of software design paradigms, data structures, and numerical algorithms.
- Understanding of probability and statistics, specifically linear regression and time-series analysis.
- An interest in financial markets.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Boston, Massachusetts.
- The weekly wage range for this position is $3,500 to $5,000 per week. Final pay depends on experience, qualifications, and relevant education.
