About the role#
This position provides students with hands-on experience in retail food service and catering operations. You will support daily kitchen and service activities while developing customer service and operational skills in a campus environment.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and assemble food items following standardized recipes and instructions.
- Serve food to customers and anticipate guest needs to ensure satisfaction.
- Manage food storage according to established safety standards.
- Set up, break down, clean, and sanitize workstations including prep tables and service counters.
- Replenish food items and maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Adhere to company safety policies, sanitation procedures, and asset security protocols.
What you'll need#
- Demonstrated guest service skills.
- Ability to obtain or possess a food safety certification.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of standing or walking.
- Willingness to wear required uniforms or personal protective equipment.
- Open to students from majors including Business Administration, Nutrition, Civil Engineering, and Psychology.
