About the role#
The Student Worker - Functional position involves maintaining a clean and orderly environment to ensure the safety and health of others. This role requires adherence to established safety procedures and regulations while performing custodial tasks to meet client standards.
What you'll do#
- Clean assigned areas according to company and client requirements.
- Maintain and properly clean housekeeping equipment.
- Follow established procedures for the storage and disposal of trash.
- Report maintenance concerns through work order requests.
- Secure the facility by locking and unlocking buildings as required.
- Ensure the security of company assets.
What you'll need#
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull more than 50 lbs.
- Capacity to follow basic safety procedures regarding physical risks and hazardous chemicals.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, extended walking, and standing.
- Willingness to wear uniforms or use personal protective equipment as required.
- Previous custodial experience is preferred.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, or Human Resources.
