About the role#
This student worker position supports food service and catering operations at the ASU Training Table. The role focuses on food preparation, safety compliance, and delivering high quality customer service in a campus environment.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and assemble food items following standardized recipes and directions.
- Set up, break down, clean, and sanitize workstations including prep tables and service counters.
- Serve food to customers while maintaining a positive demeanor and anticipating guest needs.
- Replenish food items to ensure appropriate stock levels.
- Store food properly according to established safety standards.
- Adhere to company safety policies, including sanitation protocols and the security of company assets.
What you'll need#
- Ability to obtain or possess a food safety certification.
- Strong guest service skills.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
- Ability to meet physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of standing or walking.
- Willingness to wear required uniforms or personal protective equipment.
