About the role#
This position offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in food service and catering operations on campus. You will assist in food preparation, maintain safety standards, and develop professional customer service skills.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and assemble food items using standardized recipes.
- Store food products according to established safety and sanitation standards.
- Set up, break down, clean, and sanitize workstations including service counters and prep tables.
- Serve food to customers while anticipating their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
- Replenish and stock food items to maintain appropriate levels.
- Adhere to safety policies and ensure the security of company assets.
What you'll need#
- Ability to demonstrate guest service skills.
- Must hold or be willing to acquire a food safety certification.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
- Ability to meet physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of standing or walking.
- Compliance with uniform and personal protective equipment requirements.
